  SUPER GEISHAS

• In Japan, “Geigi” or “Geiko” are more universally known as “Geisha”. 
• These ladies-in-waiting who dedicate their lives to the refined artistic practice of the traditional arts, providing accompaniment and entertainment intended for an often very affluent clientele. 
• It is this name of "Geisha" that these two female artists have decided to take to release the first album of their creations. As they have little to do with these shogun age companions but rather with the generation of Marvel super heroes, they have added the prefix expressing a complementary quality or degree: Super! 
• Our artists have thus become the "Super Geishas": 
• Heroine of pop and rap as they live in a universe populated with hip hop references but also rock and sometimes even groovy metal. 
• The "Super Geishas" play all instruments but like to welcome in the studio creative partners who come to bring their experience and their own influences. 
• This further complicates the labeling of their music which sometimes even sounds very funk and for which they make no attempt. Whether it is to use the language of the land of the rising sun or that of Shakespeare, the "Super Geishas" surf with the languages ​​with the ease of a sumotori that one would believe borrowed or even handicapped by its weight but which will move with the ease of a ballerina at lightning speed to defeat her opponent. 
• From Japan, they keep the iron discipline and the almost military organization of the tracks of their recordings. The Super Geishas are also venturing into designs that flirt with all the major trends in Manga or "Anime" fashion, while retaining musical roots that bring us back to the simplicity of the Delta blues charts. If their music is often synthetic, their imagery sometimes naive or even cartoony, is also inspired by the meaning of reading Manga ... Either from right to left ... And we still feel the influence of the beginnings of narrative painting of the time of Nara in their visuals or their songs ... 
• For the texts, the “Super Geishas” seem to have mastered the right words like so many satires appeared in the vein of the caustic E-Shinbun Nipponchi or the Asahi Shinbun. The dream of our Super Geishas being to one day join the very closed fan club of the Fujin Club or Women's Club which contributed to the liberation of feminine thought in Japan and well beyond. By not forbidding the use of all Japanese onomatopoeias such as smile (niko niko) or even sparkle (pika pika).

• These little friends who could well become the kamikazes of the groove!
